Online HSC tutoring, built around what each student gets wrong.

Aeris Education runs live online classes for Year 11 and 12 students studying the NSW syllabus. Each subject has one Theory class and one Practical class a week, 1.5 hours each, and students join from home, anywhere in Australia. The subjects are Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension 1, Chemistry and Physics.

What makes Aeris different is what happens to the mistakes. Work is handed in each week: the tutor marks the homework and looks through the Practical booklet, and the student keeps the mistakes that matter to them in their Error Log. Over a term, the same topic turning up in separate lessons shows what a student actually needs to work on. When a school exam is announced, that record becomes a revision Roadmap: what to revise, and in what order. The tutor checks and approves the Roadmap before the student sees it.

Aeris is for students in Years 11 and 12 who want to know what to work on next. Students get their classes, their marked homework, their Error Log and their Roadmap. Parents get class times, fees and a report at the end of each eight-week block, in their own portal.

Aeris is built and taught by its two founders, Aryan Ryan and Jinan Waseef.

The two people teaching you.

We’ve each tutored for two years at tutoring companies and centres, and each taught close to 200 students. Most told us some version of the same thing: there’s too much to do, and it isn’t clear what to do first. We want you to know what to work on each week and what to revise before each exam. Above all, we want you to find out you’re more capable than you think. That’s what happened to us.

We both hold Working with Children Checks.
