Free sessions for NSW schools.
Two 45-minute sessions for Year 11 students, presented by the two founders of Aeris Education. Year 10 students and parents can come along where it suits your school.
The sessions
Head start for Year 12
For all Year 11 students. 45 minutes, one lesson.
A study system to carry into Year 12, set up before it starts.
- A mistakes log: write down each question you got wrong, work out where it went wrong, and redo it until you can.
- Testing yourself instead of rereading, and spacing revision out over weeks instead of cramming.
- A weekly plan that fits around school, homework and assessments.
- What to do over the summer before Year 12.
UCAT and medicine roadmap
For students interested in medicine. 45 minutes, one lesson.
A plain timeline, so students know what's ahead before Year 12.
- What the UCAT is and what it tests.
- The usual timeline: bookings usually open around March of Year 12, and the test is usually sat between July and August.
- Where to start: the free official practice material.
- How entry to medical school works, including interviews.
- For regional schools, the rural entry pathways and what they ask for.
A session for parents is also available on request.
Aeris Education is not affiliated with NESA or the UCAT ANZ Consortium.

How it works with your school
- The slides, and any information for families, go to the principal two weeks ahead for approval. We'll change anything you ask.
- A teacher stays in the room.
- We bring printed templates for students to keep.
- For a session at your school, we need a screen or projector.
- We don’t collect students’ names or contact details at school. [CONFIRM]
Aeris also runs online HSC classes. At the end of a session we briefly say who we are, and we can leave an information sheet for families that you’ve approved.
